Luke Goetz – Owner.  Luke is a graduate of Washington Township Schools and Purdue University.  With a background in agriculture Luke’s work ethic and “can do” attitude have enabled him to grow his business to what it is today.  Luke oversees the day-to-day operations of the entire business as well as being the sales manager for the family owned seed operation, Wyckoff Hybrids, and a sub dealer for T-L Irrigation systems.  Luke stays very busy with all of the different hats that he wears, but is always available when a customer has a concern.  Luke and his wife Michelle have two sons and three daughters.  In his spare time (which there isn’t much of) Luke enjoys boating, skiing, and golf.

Noel Goetz – Landscape Crew Manager.  Noel is a graduate of Washington Township Schools and Purdue North Central.  As Luke’s younger brother, Noel is always willing to tackle any challenge.  Priding himself in the quality of his work, don’t be surprised to see Noel pull into your driveway months after he has finished your project, just to check up on it, or show it off.  Noel is responsible for the installation of some of the finest yards in the Valparaiso area, and he oversees every aspect of any project he is on.  Noel has been part of the business since 2008.  Prior to Goetz Hosta Farm Noel was employed at Bucher Construction as a framer.  Noel and his wife Kristen live in Washington Township and have two daughters.  In his spare time Noel enjoys carpentry projects at home or perfecting his own yard.

Brian Lautenbach – Landscape Maintenance Manager.  Brian is a graduate of Whiteland Community High School and Purdue University.  Married to Luke’s twin sister, “Nellie”, Brian is Luke’s brother-in-law and oversees all of the maintenance operations such as mowing and fertilization, as well as preparing bids and landscape designs.  Brian takes great pride in the impression his work makes on a property and enjoys leaving a property looking better than when he arrived.  Brian has been at Goetz Hosta Farm since March of 2009, and was previously employed at The Brickman Group in Indianapolis.  Brian and his wife, Janelle, live near Wanatah and have two boys and one girl.  In his spare time Brian enjoys spending time with his kids and playing basketball.

Chris Schroeder – Hardscape Manager.  Chris joined our team in the spring of 2011 as our full time hardscape managager.  A graduate of Valparaiso High School, Chris is a multitalented individual that is not afraid of a challenge.  He has a varied background that has given him several skills that have made him very valuable.  Besides previously owning his own landscape business, Chris has worked as a locksmith and is able to fix almost anything, and always willing to help.  Chris has already managed two large scale retaining wall projects for us in his first year and our customers have enjoyed working with him.  Chris and his wife Susanna have one child with another one on the way.

Adam White – Supervisor.  Adam is a graduate of Washington Township Schools and heads up the mowing crews for Goetz Hosta Farm.  His work ethic and responsibility are great assets to us.  Never one to back down from a challenge, Adam enjoys learning new aspects of our business each day.  Adam and his fiancée Jackie are planning a wedding in the summer.

Ben Goetz – Mechanic.  Although not officially an employee of Goetz Hosta Farm, “Binky”  is an integral part of the business.  Sharing shop space at the “Hosta Farm”, you are likely to see Ben’s friendly face when coming by to pick out plants.  Ben has been self-employed as a mechanic for the last three years.  Previously, he was a full time mechanic at H&P Sales in Valparaiso.  A full service mechanic, Ben has been known to work on anything and everything, and having him close by has been a huge benefit for everyone here.  Call him anytime you need an honest mechanic (916-4184) or just say “hi” next time you come by to visit.  Ben and his wife Leah have one son and live near Westville.
